C. elegans is a proven whole model organism for assessing the impact of ingredients on aging, longevity, epidermal integrity and health effects. As invertebrates, C. elegans offer a sustainable option for testing (maintaining rodents is far more labour- and resource-intensive).

Furthermore, our model offers key advantages over the use of individual cell lines — like dermal fibroblasts, or even RHE (reconstructed human epidermis) that cannot predict the safety, bioactivity, and effects on other biological pathways.
