June 2021 marks an exciting month as we see some of our C. elegans thought leaders speaking at key events.
The 23rd Biannual International C. elegans conference will be held over 21st - 24th of June. #Worm2021 has been reimagined to take place online to feature virtual discussion sessions, interactive workshops and connect worm experts globally. Giulia Zavagno, PhD researcher at Magnitude Biosciences, will be discussing the development of systems to screen microbiome targets on the 23rd June at 5:30PM (BST). Register here.
ELRIG and The British Pharmacological Society are teaming up to host this years Translating Ideas into Therapies conference to be held online over the 30th June and 1st July. Magnitude Biosciences CEO and C. elegans expert Dr. David Weinkove will be speaking at 3:05PM (BST) on the 30th June about the use of automated methods to quantify both efficacy and toxicity of compounds for drug development using the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans.
